Anyone in the world may post to the list, simply by sending an email message to the list address.
Subscriber List Option
Allow posting by subscribers only.
Moderated List Option
Allow posting by the list moderator only. Posts made by subscribers go to the moderator, who then forwards the posts onto the list address for distribution. You may have multiple moderators. This type of list may be a moderated discussion list, or may be an announcement list (a/k/a newsletter).
Announcement List Option
Allow posting by the list administrator only. Also known as a newsletter, this type of list is the same as a moderated list, except all posts to the list are initiated by the list administrator.
Password Protection
Posts to the list can be controlled by use of a list password. Messages (emails) sent to the list address will not be distributed unless the list password is included in the subject of the message.
Poster's List
A list of email addresses authorized to post to the list, without moderation and/or without subscribing, can be designated.
Private Subscriptions
Only the list administrator can add subscribers to the list.
Digest
Messages to the list can be accumulated and periodically mailed out in a single email. This is an option that may be enabled by the list administrator. If enabled, people may opt to subscribe to this version of the list instead of the regular version.
HTML/Plain Text Posting
Messages to the list may be in HTML or in Plain Text
Attachments
Messages to the list may contain attachments.
Custom Subject Line
The list administrator can enter a word or phrase to appear on the subject line of all posts received by subscribers (regular or digest).
Welcome Letter
The list administrator can create a plain text welcome letter that is automatically sent to everyone who subscribes to the list via email.
Help Email
The list administrator can create a plain text Help email that is automatically sent to anyone who requests it via email.
Headers and Trailers
The list administrator can enter text (information such as the subscribe and unsubscribe instructions) to appear in the header and/or trailer portion of all plain text posts received by subscribers (regular or digest).
Subscription Forms
Subscribers may subscribe to the list via a form you place on a web page. You may place this form on your web site or a page in the free web space that is included in your Package. We provide the HTML code for the form.
List "Homepage"
We provide you with the HTML code to create a List "Homepage" on your web site or a page in the free web space that is included in your Package. The List Homepage includes forms to subscribe, unsubscribe, go on/off digest, post, get help, and contact the list administrator, plus instructions on how to perform those same tasks via email. Unlimited List Archives
A list may optionally have archives, which is a collection of all past posts to the list, displayed on a web page. There is no size-limitation on the archives. The archives may be password-protected and restricted to viewing by subscribers only. [Archive Demo]
